As the weather warms up and the days grow longer, many people will be headed to “The Jewel of the Sierra,” Lake Tahoe is the place to be when it comes to fantastic outdoor events. So without further ado, here’s a list of the top events coming to the Lake Tahoe area this Spring and Summer!

5th Annual Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival: July 24th

Lake Tahoe’s Annual Reggae Festival is the largest Reggae festival in the United States for ten years and counting. This festival is widely considered a bar-setter when it comes to American Reggae. Come out and relish in the island vibes at the Hard Rock Casino outdoor arena. This year’s lineup includes Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, Tribal Seeds, and many more! 

Lake Tahoe Art, Wine and Music Festival: July 13th - July 14th

Searching for something a little more sophisticated? Look no further than the Lake Tahoe Art, Wine and Music Festival. Located at the Palisades Ski Resort, this event features two days of art booths and exhibits, wine sampling from various regional wineries, and plenty of live music. The event benefits Achieve Tahoe, an organization that provides recreational activities for people with disabilities. Come out and enjoy a great event with a great cause!

Lights on the Lake 4th of July Fireworks: July 4th

In light of recent wildfires in the area, this year’s 4th of July event will be substituting fireworks for jaw-dropping flying drone displays. Professional drone pilots will provide 15 minutes of drones flying in choreographed unison. This is not an event that you want to miss, as it’s continually rated as a Top Five firework display. Live at Lakeview: Free Summer Concert Series on the Beach: June 23rd - August 25th

Music, music, and more music (can you tell that we enjoy live music events?)! This year’s lineup has yet to be announced, but if you’re looking to get outside and enjoy a wide variety of music performed live right on Commons Beach. There are plenty of food and beer vendors to keep the dancing going all day and into the night!

American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Tournament: July 6th - July 10th

Do you want to be center stage for one of the most exciting sporting events in Lake Tahoe? The American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament takes place at the Edgewood golf course, one of Golf Digest’s top public golf courses. This year’s featured celebrity golfers will include Justin Timberlake, Tony Romo, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Charles Barkley, alongside 80 other competitors.
