Jordan World Circus - March 18-20

Coming this weekend, the Jordan World Circus features aerialists, elephants, motorcycles, daring stunts, and more at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. It’s a great opportunity to take the kids for a night out. During the intermission, grab some popcorn, drinks, and food from local vendors upstairs.


Reno Jazz Festival - April 28-30

If you’re a music lover, come by and enjoy the 60-year anniversary of the Reno Jazz Festival! The festival includes live performances by some of the best jazz artists in the world. Aside from listening to renowned musicians, the festival also features collegiate and upcoming musicians as well. This year’s celebration features an online interactive option as well.


Reno River Festival - May 12-13

As the weather begins to heat up, many locals head down to the Reno River Festival for a day enjoying locally-sourced food, live music, craft beer, vendors, and the Reno Tahoe Adventure Park. Stroll the walking paths of Wingfield Park, or take a dip in the Truckee River! This is not an event that you want to miss.


Street Vibrations - June 4-6

One of the more diverse events that Reno hosts, Street Vibrations is a large gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world. There’s free entertainment and music, vendors with a variety of merchandise, and much more. The is not only in Reno but in Carson City and Virginia city as well!


Reno Rodeo - June 17-26

You don’t need to be a cowboy to enjoy the “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West!” Celebrating its 102nd year, The Reno Rodeo is a summer event that is one of our personal favorites. Witness some of the best bull riders in the nation compete. Some of these include the cattle drive, drill team competition, special kids rodeo, mutton bustin', carnival rides. There’s even a parade down the streets as well prior to the rodeo.


Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival - July 17 - August 22

If you’re more of a drama buff, check out the Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor. Nearing its 50th year, the festival will feature Shakespeare’s play, “Much Ado About Nothing.” If you’re looking for lighthearted fun, the smash hit “Mama Mia” will be live throughout the event as well.
